Make do and mend
Constructed landscape
AO1)
With make do and mend, I feel this is when I truly just started to explore photography on a more professional scale as I did have a simple basic understanding that most people have . I hadn’t got to many ideas on what to do. I really did grow to quite enjoy the theme and now that I look back upon this I believe that my early work of this unit would go on to effect my later work. We focused on the works of Marcel Duchamp I’ve learnt abut how the adaption of work and creation of work are truly obtainable with remarkable ease. or how one work can sper of a incalculable amounts of works of art . with documenting communities I was to tell the truth I was worried about how it required the photo graphing of people in a regular situation on the street and located. but my feelings changed as it pushed me into photographing others and the feelings of communicating as as such I am mildly grateful for it now but I am still not the strongest speaker. with With constructed landscapes I originally had an exsitment as my focus of photographs was lent towards landscape plus the fact that the ability of cutting and ripping .it was already had a positive ideas but it was able to grow more on me i was able to travel around on day trips at those times and find alot of interesting locations to photograph for this and i found these artists by researching them through the GCSEs website or the internet even their own webpages. when it came to make do and mend . I originally tried simple cutting and folding moving on to cutting out sections of different photos and creating a whole new work from it. i decided to change them and creat more surreal situations or senes. It grew along side my skills in the art form and so as i learned to what extent of the elbret ideas I had I changed my mind set to extend my ability to compleat this work. the most chalenging part must be the research and the appreciation of my ideas in to written word .With documenting commentariesI started by going into in depth investigations and improve my quality of research. Then I decided with this to tuck up my sleeves and get down to photograph people.my feelings of this type of photography changed the most if I’m being honest . The hardest bit was building up the courage to interact with the people I wanted to photograph. In constructed land scapes . I started by using digital photography , then I tried it out on film. I’ve even attempted using the dark room and double layering photographs cutting up using material such as film, acetate photographic paper.I started by defining my original feelings on what makes a photograph a landscape then taken-photos of landscapes which went on to me photographing more areas, focusing on my local environment which are city scapes and that was where I learned that I can create a city scape that could count as a land scape while I take it in portrait iwaki down to down afterwards to get more photos of more natral land skapes after that i whent up north to barn ard castle to get a mixture of people and nature . i changed up the ways I took my photos changing from digital to film and the use of the dark room i exercised patience as the development process is a long and arduous work but fun to . the hardest thing was probably getting used to using film.I’ve used my website too, so every process I can minus darkroom processes, but I’ll mention that in his dark room should resources are used for the dark room and shown the outcome. I show all the photos I’ve used I show all my first attempt. My second attempt is my third attempt and my final outcome and this stands for all my work. I believe I have reflected my idea pretty well within the webpage galleries. The wife do someone feel there is some room for improvement. Some regard.I was hoping to create a visual representation of my world and how it was compèred to others and mostly finding my way with things and it turned out well in my opinion .all my work I have uploaded is to my satisfaction i believe with the make do and mend i did reasonably represent the theme i did as much with the documenting community but still it relates to the theme my best must be the constructed landscape for my sticking to the theme with my final project it was an accumulation there was 2 main themes and thay both brung together the techniques i had learned but also the fact that i really think thay are my own view.i would love to try this again but maybe try different objects or places .
